Our Dune leather collection is 100% top-grain North American Bison leather, an exclusive leather made from the iconic American Bison. The full-grain hides have a 30-to-40% higher tensile strength than cowhide, which means the grain pattern is unique and bold. This leather is enriched with waxes and oils to give it a dramatic pull-up effect that is rugged and distressed.
Remove dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Microfiber wipes should not be used as they degrease the surface. This should never be done heavily or in a scrubbing motion. Never use harsh cleaners or solvents, as they could abrade the finish or topcoat of the leather.
Most liquids will be repelled by the leather. In case of spills blot excess liquid immediately with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge.
Oil or grease stains must be wiped off immediately. Small oil or grease spots will dissipate into the leather in a short period of time. For stubborn stains and spills, use a cloth lightly damped in warm water and blot the stain. If this does not work, use a mild soap and water solution, blot to release the stain, and blot again with a soft absorbent cloth. Avoid scrubbing the leather.
